new
Here is my ever-so spiffly, and hopefully ever-so up-to-date Xmas/Birthday wish list.
Last Update: 2/17/2012
Guns
Cimarron Lightning, Standard Blue, 5.5” barrel, with dual .32 H&R and .32-20 cylinders (CA3002) – I can't really explain why, when I have a gun that shoots .327 Federal Magnum, I also want a gun that shoots .32 H&R, but I kind of do. Alternatively, a Ruger Single Six in .32 H&R would be nice, but I'd rather have this Cimarron.
Cimarron 1860 Richards-Mason Conversion in .38 Special, Standard Blue, 5.5” barrel (CA939) – I also can't explain this one, but I want it.
Cimarron Model P in .44 Special, Standard Blue with Pre-War Color Case Hardened Frame, 5.5” barrel (MP681) – I can't explain this one either, but I want it.
Thompson Center Encore Pro-Hunter Rifle Frame – My brother's been right about the fact that I should have gotten one of these, and I'm admitting it, now, when it's nearly too late for it to be a terribly viable concept for me. Ideally, I would even replace a gun or two in my safe with barrels for this frame. If you look below, you'll see some barrels I already wish to have.
Black Powder handguns – Note: Not Defined as Firearms by federal law, no paperwork involved. I'm not terribly picky on these, as I'd like to have a few. I'd like both revolvers and single-shot pistols. Dixie Gun Works sells kits and complete firearms that can be purchased online. As does MidwayUSA. I would like to stick with percussion cap driven guns, however. The kits are less expensive for a reason, and they will require a fair amount of finishing work to get them looking nice. Pietta is an economical brand to look for. Cabellas has some for $200.
Gun Stuff That is Not A Gun (Even if it might seem so, none of these things are defined as firearms and they require no paperwork. For AR-15 Uppers, please check and make sure that they include a bolt carrier group and charging handle, if possible)
Lee Precision Deluxe Carbide 4-die set of reloading dies for .45 Colt (Lee Sku: 90967 )
Lee Precision Deluxe Carbide 4-die set of reloading dies for .44 Special (Lee Sku: 90966 )
Money to put toward the next gun purchase. It's really more economical to do it this way, since I do work for a gun shop, and can purchase at cost. Anything will help.
Mech Tech Carbine Conversion Unit for Glock 31 (meaning a full size Glock frame, chambered in .357 Sig). I don't need any extra bells and whistles, so just the basic unit with a basic stock.
